We stayed for 3 nights in a simple bungalow 100 meters from the beach. The beds were not really comfortable, but we didn't expect much comfort for 700 baht/night. The resort is perfectly situated at a quiet bay. THe restaurant serves good food and fruit shakes. Perfect place for a relaxing holiday.

It's quite hard to find, being about an hour away from the port, and to get to this place you need to get your taxi to drive you through the grounds of two expensive luxury resorts. We had a wonderful stay at Thongtapan resort. The clean and simple bungalows are between the beach and the - almost- wild garden, in the nature just like we love. We stayed 2 nights here. The location is of course wonderful. Sitting right on Thong Nai Pan Noi. Just beautiful. The bungalow is too pricey, especially since breakfast is not included. They didn't clean our room either, so on the secound day, the bathroom smelled so bad that I almost got sick every time I had to use the toilet.... More
