I stayed here twice on my recent trip to SE Asia (once in December 2010, then January 2011) and both times I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. While the staff don't speak excellent English they do make an effort, they're all nice and willing to help with anything you need. The in-room DVD-player was a bonus and the pool is great....

I stayed at tanouy over the august 2010 full moon. Having read the bad review before arriving i must admit i wasn't expecting much. Contrary to what that person has written, the food there was great. Proper home cooked thai food and better than anything we had in the town centre (not sure about the western food, didn't try it)....

i stayed at tanouy gardens only a couple of days ago and i had a great experience. they owners were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. the food they prepared was better them most of the restaurants we went to in had rin. i would recommend anyone to stay here.
I stayed in Tanouy Gardens with 6 friends over the last full moon party, we booked over the internet before we arrived which was our first mistake as friends who just turned up paid a fraction of the price. We were the only people staying and assumed that the owners would want to make a good impression because of this.....
