When we first arrived we were a little dissapointed with the huts, they are very basic, a little like garden sheds, but they do have mosquito nets, a fridge and are clean and really what else can you expect for £10 a night! The owners joyce and ed were really welcoming and had a great restaurant (although not serving thai)... More

The bungalows are simple, clean and very good value. The location is excellent; close to the Beach, restaurants, etc, but quiet and peaceful. Owners Ed and Joyce are really friendly and helpful and cook fabulous meals! More

I exchanged some emails with Joyce and decided to stay at Redsnapper Bungalow. Great location by walking few minutes to Long beach(Pra-ae beach). I stayed in the nice Fan room,en suite with fridge only 350thb/night. Prepare your Mosquito spray! The owner are very helpful and made you feel at home even there were so many things happened like electricity cut... More

We stayed in Red Snapper for 6 nights and we really enjoyed the place. Location was perfect, just 2 min from Pra hae beach and near the mainroad. Bungalow was spacious, modern and cozy, decorated with good style. Only drawback was that staff was not really helpful because too busy with the restaurant and we had to ask several times... More

We stayed at Red Snapper over the Christmas Holidays and for this reason we booked the bungalows many months before. Joyce, the owner, did not ask us to send a deposit and when we got there she also upgraded us to the new bungalows. I was travellling with my husband and my dad and we had two lovely bungalows with... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Red Snapper for a week after New Years 2011. We booked the Superior room which was very recently built and was equipped with air conditioning, fridge, and a huge bathroom. We checked out other bungalows in the area and we didn't find anything that we'd consider a better deal for the money. The owners... More

Myself and my husband stayed at Red Snapper bungalows for 3 nights in November 2010. We found the bungalows SUCH great value for 13quid a night (650bht). The bungalows are set off the road so we had a great nights sleep. They are about a 5 minute walk to the beach. The bungalows have really funky decor and the thing... More

We stayed at the Red Snapper for 4 nights after transferring from Fisherman's Cottage to find lower-priced accommodation. As it was quiet in Koh Lanta that week we managed to negotiate a price of 500 Baht (£10) per night for the bungalow which was seriously good value for the quality of the bungalow. The bungalow had a HUGE bed. They... More

Stayed here for two weeks over Christmas and loved it. If you are looking for something cozy homely and quiet its just the place. Most of the spots around are overcrowded and loud but Red Snapper has just a few Bungalows so is nice and quiet. The food is unbelievable try the duck. The atmosphere is great in the evenings... My husband and I stayed at the Red Snapper as part of a backpacking trip. At 500 Baht, this was the cheapest place we stayed at in Ko Lanta, and yet in ambience and service it beat other expensive places on the island. It makes a great first impression, being set in a tropical garden and because there are only... More
