After staying at the nearby Baan Lanta Spa resort I decided to view the rooms at KBVR. The very friendly family who own the establishment were kind helpful and with a/c bungalow rooms at half the price a bargain. I am glad we didn't read previous reviews or we wouldn't have come. We found it on a scooter ride and changed hotels so we could be on the beach. We have stayed at this place many times and we love it. Not the cleanest place, but good value with the bungalows almost right on the beach. The why not bar has a very friendly staff and good music.

Beautiful location, nice restaurant for a quick lunch, sadly spoilt by some of the poorest customer services we've encountered so far. The service and food is really poor. A local rock band spoils the atmosphere by playing the same songs every night.
