We were very happy with the service we received, from the room upgrade, to the nice breakfast buffet, to the box of chocolates waiting for us after a noisy party kept us awake. The bathrooms could use an upgrade, but the rooms and beds were very comfortable.

Golden Tulip Amritsar is a very good hotel located very near to the Amritsar Railway Station. All the tourist attractions are located at 15 mins drive from the Hotel. They have Gujral's famous Moti Mahal Deluxe Restaurant on the first floor which serves yummy food. The price of Hotel is also very reasonable.

The Golden Tulip is only a 5 minute ride on an auto rickshaw from the old town which costs about 80 rupees so location is not an issue. The rooms were spacious and clean. We stayed here for just one night, but the staff and overall experience was great. Our pick up was well cordinated. Since we celebrated my husband's bday there, the hotel staff had also organised for a cake to be cut in our room. The next time we visit amritsar, we'll stay at the same place for sure.
