We stayed here for four days in 2006 december. the place is not really in the heart of munnar, and thats good. There is noone on this hill apart from a few other guests in the hotel. FIRST GEAR ONLY. This was the sign board place when you just start climbing the road leading to deshadan. And yes there were some steep climbing the car need to go on 1st gear. Stayed in the hotel for 2 nights. You need taxi to reach the hotel. Check-in was little slow. Rooms were good & spacious. Dinner & breakfast was delicious. Beautiful view from Balcony with cool breeze blowing.
Saw a departmental store adjacent operated by Hotel, I think.
Would love to visit again.
