We visited Kaivalyam retreat with the idea of relaxation. This is precisely what we got there. The retreat is in the middle of a plantation and the hosts Harish and his wife are absolutely amazing in their hospitality. We took long walks, got wet in the rain and had loads of fun. I really loved staying in this beautiful and well-run retreat. The location, high up in hills near Munnar, is stunning, and it was lovely to be able to explore the surroundings in guided walks through the spice plantation.
