“Beautiful view from room 212. That's the only good bit.”

Depressing hotel with uninterested staff. Actually a very wierd experience because it could be so much better. The view from room 212 is amazing. 180 degrees of a beautiful valley, nestled in between mountains from all sides. Rooms are clean but uninspiring, and are pretty expensive. 1100 rupees per night. This is an unusual hotel. It advertises a "health spar", which was a separate building with six or seven exercise machine, which appeared to have been unused for a while. Unfortunately the boiler for the steam bath was in pieces in the garden, but was being worked on. There was a small swimming pool in an attractive garden, with turgid... More
