I have stayed at the Macaw on several occasions and have been impressed at every turn. If you are transiting Guayaquil or holding over for a while you cannot do any better than the Macaw. A gem of a small hotel with great owners and staff!

Very clean hostel with air-conditioned rooms, great hosts and staff. Very friendly, helpful, and attentive to your needs. Good location close to the Mall del Sol. If you need to stay in Guayaquil for a few days, you can't beat this place!
