“Nice family run apartment near Plitvice NP”

My wife and I recently stayed at apartments Krizmanic for two nights during our visit to Plitvice lakes national park. The apartment was very spacious, including a large bedroom with full and twin size beds, large bathroom, and kitchen with fridge, stove, couch, TV, and plenty of dishes/silverware/pots. Because of a mix-up in reviews we chose this place as it was rated #1 for this area and it was supposed to be within walking distance of the Park. An excellent B&B in very quiet and picturesque surroundings. A good breakfast was served downstairs. I'm a bit confused about some of the other reviews. The owners don't speak English fluently or German there. It was hard to communicate with them to pick us up from the entrance. When we arrived we did not feel welcome at all.
