Only went to the restaurant on last night of holiday as wanted a treat. Location is very good especially at sundown. But, the food was very pretentious and expensive compared with other good restaurants in Hvar town. If you are into big plates with very small portions go here.

Hotel Croatia is one of the most beautifull hotels in Croatia. It has wonderful position, food was delicious and park in front of hotel was indescribable,small oases of peace. I am looking forward to come there again.

OK, so the paintwork is a bit dodgy, the furniture basic and bathroom design idiosyncratic, but we loved it for its charm and would go back. Yes this place could do with some refurbishment in the rooms, but its set in some lovely gardens and at the end you can swim off the rocks in the sea.
