I had a nice stay. I was in town for a friend's wedding. It was close to the venue so it all worked out. I've had past positive experiences at this Double Tree Hotel so I was comfortable staying here.

Hotel is in a great location close to UAB and the Hospital and mediccal facilities. Walking distsnce to many restaurants andthe hotel offers free shuttle service to local restaurants, businesses and airport.

Enjoyed much personal attention of staff and slept great in the quiet room on comfortable bed. Breakfast was cooked to order for us and staff offered us go-cups of coffee for our drive. Hotel is well located to our favorite restaurant and many other nearby food, drink, and entertainment options.

My daughter and I stayed here twice within 4 days. It's very nice, the front desk staff was very accommodating. The rooms were very clean and our request for another blanket was quickly answered. I hate how cheaper hotels like Holiday Inn provide free wi-fi but the more nicer hotels like this Doubletree do not. Everything else about my stay was satisfactory, and the location was perfect! You could walk to places to eat. They did not have laundry services.

Have stayed here several times and find the Rooms very nice, clean and the staff very accommodating. Central location and easy to get in and out by car. The cookie is a nice touch and if you stay more than a day, ask for another cookie each day....they don't mind.

I stayed at this hotel for one night, the first time at a Doubletree in ages. The location is good, close to restaurents and the UAB Hospital. I was stranded in Birmingham because if a cancelled layover flight and the staff found me a room, breakfast and made sure everything was ready in the 20 minutes before my arrival. The breakfast was enjoyable and the staff was attentive and very nice.

Make no mistake about it- this hotel has a fantastic location. If you need to stay in downtown Birmingham for any reason you could not ask to be in a better spot.
