I booked a room here since it was near the airport and I had a flight early the next morning. Orbitz listed it as "3 star". When I got to my room I looked around and knew I wasn't going to be staying there. This is the first and only time I've ever checked out of a room before staying... More

We were looking for a place to stay and there was some kind of big event going on in Birmingham. I was very tired, and all of the hotels we tried were full. We were driving around and spotted this place. It had vacancies, so we thought, "How bad could it be? It's only one night." So we decided to... More

The only thing good about this hotel is the location (Conveniently located on Hwy. 31). Other than that, it was dirty and disgusting. There was some sort of family reunion there while we were, and they were very loud and they filled the pool so that no one else could use it. The rooms all open to the outside, and... More

This has absolutely got to be the worst rat hole I've ever stayed in. It could have been from the 60's! It had NO new amenities. The place smelled like must. The pillows were horribly small, as well as the sheets and comforters. NO movies to buy. The drain was clogged and the towel rack came off within 15 mins... More

First room had bare light bulbs in fixtures and a bathroom vent fan that could wake the dead. Second room was only slightly better - dinted, dingy walls - cigarette burns everywhere - no smoking room? Bath/shower marginally operative - decided NOT to eat the very sparce breakfast. Will not return and wished I hadn't picked it - -NOT 3... More

This place was awful. The pictures on the website make it look beautiful but it must have gone down the drain once it was no longer affiliated with Quality Inn. Rug felt dirty on my feet....room smelled musty and the bathroom was no bigger than a closet. We go to Birmingham every year for Talladega race and this was THE... More

The room we finally accepted was the most unhealthy and dirty one I've stayed in, especially when one of the travel services rates it three stars! Had it not been late and pouring rain, we would have left. Mold, dirty carpet, plumbing that doesn't work. A terrible night.

We booked the room on Expedia who gave it a three star rating. I don't know how they rate, but if this is 3 star I would hate to see a 2 star. The room was dingy and had a musty smell. The humidity was so high in the room that the towels were damp and the carpet was also.... More

I must say this is by far the worst motel we stayed in this year. The area of town seemed good, but the rooms are musty, dirty carpet, bugs in the floor, wall-paper peeling off, paint was cracked and flakeing off, cracks in the walls, the bathrooms had rust around everything-----this motel is totally UNACCEPTACLE--STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!! But the lake(if you... More

It was inexpensive, but the hallways were dirty. The ice/vending area was trashy. The rooms smelled musty. The breakfast was good. The view was nice - on a small lake with a water fountain and a deck overlooking it, but you had to enter the room from the outside walkway, which was old and in need of repair. Look for... More
