The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place is quite and, at the same time, very near of Caracoles street, where all the buzz is concentrated. Definitely a good option in the city.

Here's the email I just sent to their corp office;
We stayed there for 5 nights ending February 6 in your San Pedro Hotel. (we also stayed at your hotel in Valparaiso for 4 nights)....Regardig San Pedro hotel---. I appreciate the hot water and elctricity and swimming pool...but the price of $170 per night is very high. Broken chairs at...

The hotel is in a very good position, close to the center of San Pedro.
The service was really bad. The waitresses talks loudly between them while cleaning the rooms at any time without any respect for the guests sleeping. We complained one day but the day after the woke up us again in the same way.
The breakfast is...

Lovely hotel in this charming desert village. The town is very tourism-oriented and easy to walk around and enjoy. The hotel has a refreshing pool and lovely adobe buildings. The front desk staff was helpful (though not with a service-with-a-smile attitude, more of a just-doing-my-job attitude). Free wi-fi.
The best in this place is the location. Rua Caracoles, the main street, is just around the corner - this will save you time and a lot of dust in your lungs. The swimming pool and external area are very beautiful and cosy. The restaurant is a mess and the breakfast is poor. Service is also not that good -...

Hotels in San Pedro are costly, when compared to othe places in Chile and Argentina. We were a party of four and stayed in a "cabaña familiar" (two rooms + one bath-room) what brings the price down to an acceptable level.
The hotel is very well located one block from San Pedro's main street were the city restaurants are located...

We were on a post-conference holiday and many friends and acquaintances finished up in San Pedro at the same time we did. We found we were much better placed for exploring the town and for strolling home late at night full of food and wine - some people staying in very pleasant accommodation found they had to cross an unlit...

The best thing that can be said about this hotel is that it's location is good, easy walking distance from the centre. The worst is that it's very basic and not good value for money. The staff are unhelpful and more concerned about carrying on their own conversations than attending to your needs. Typically there are at least 3 big...

the Hosteria is a regular hotel, with all the ordinary comforts of a chain hotel, including a swimming pool, but it's certainly not one of the hotel you will remember for life.
The rooms are quite anonymus, but there's no complaint to raise about the hotel. It's in a great position, and it's very quiet, even during the New Year's...

This place is OK but definitely not worth recommending. I dont think there are many outstanding places in San Pedro but I am sure there are others better than here. For example Hotel Kimal (?) looked much more funky but was full. This hotel at least works...ie. hot shower and clean rooms. However there was a TV with remote.....and only...
