The best hotel we were in Cambodia - big bedroom, air condition, frige, wi-fi, breakfast for 20 U$s. Everyhting nicely decorated. Only problem - noise from building (enlarging hotel)

If you are into heavy wooden furniture this is your heaven. The rooms are clean and the staff friendly. Good location: close to the jettison for the Siem Reap boat and the central market, where you can enjoy lovely cakes and fruit. Air con working fine.
In a very good location, walking distance to the city center and really close to the pier of the boat for Siam Reap. Free internet points in the lobby and free bicycles available, and helpful service to arrange tour around Battambang and to book the boat trip to Siam Reap. Rooms are spacious and clean. The personnel is professional and...

The hotel is located at the top of town, which means a nice stroll into the centre (5 mins) but also means a quieter location. Quieter, except that there were major renovations happening to install a pool - which will be a great addition when complete.

We were very impressed by the staff and their helpfulness. The room was very good and clean. We used the free hotel bicycles and the tuk tuk driver gave us a great day sightseeing for twenty dollars.

1. Bath tub - no baths in any rooms; showers only
2. Balcony - whilst there are balconies around the hotel, it is impossible to access them from the rooms
3. Room safe - no room safe; only a lockable drawe that a child...

We stayed at the Banan Hotel for 2 nights and it was nice. Our room was clean and on the top floor. You can walk to all the attractions in the city and breakfast was provided. The staff is ready to help with anything you need.
A little bit gaudy with all the glossy lacquered wooden furniture but it was otherwise clean and relatively modern. Most of the staff were great and the free bikes and breakfast made it a much better value than other similarly priced hotels.Heaps better than the Royal where all the tuk tuk drivers want to take you. There are some really nice drivers...

We've stayed in a few hotels now during our 3-months in Cambodia... and this by far was the nicest we've stayed at... albeit we weren't staying at Hilton styled hotels. Very comfortable and clean rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast was just OK, but good enough to get us going.
