I'd seen quite a few poor reviews about this hotel, but used it for a business trip as it was 100 yards from our office! I have to say I was pleasantly surprised; it was clean, quiet (despite being on the corner of a large road) and was reasonably priced for Sao Paulo. The staff were exceptionally friendly and spoke... I came to Sao Paulo for business, so the location is convenient and I think that's why people stay here. But this hotel overcharges for its location. They charge about $260/day - almost the same price for a boutique hotel in cities like New York. Today, I got in my room after work, there was no water. When I turn... More

I stood at the Blue Tree for 2 days only - fortunately - as a part of my last business trip. There were hundreds and hundreds of guests, and it was a mess. The restaurant looked more like a pub than to a restaurant during breakfast time: I was there between 7am and 8am and you were lucky if you... More

The hotel is a nice, modern & clean one; the staff is helpful, and they do whatever they can to make your stay a good one. BUT (and trust me, after not sleeping at all for 2 nights, it is a BIG BUT) there's too much noise: windows are too thin, even when your room is on the top floors... More

I expected much better... Rant: the bathroom had mildew, and the pool is green. Use of the sauna requires 45 min advance notice. The breakfast isn't bad. The papaya is good, but the coffee is the worst I've had in some time. This is inexcusable in Brazil, as the coffee here is generally amazing! One day, the elevator took me... More

Stayed at the Blue Tree for a month because of a work assignment. The location was perfect, with plenty of bars around, and I'd say that the area is safer than most places in SP. However, the hotel experience was not that great at all. The room carpet was dirty as well as the bathroom was filthy with mildew. The... More

This is an average business hotel with an absolute ok service and good breakfast (fresh fruits, sandwiches etc). Is situated in the Itaim Bibi and is close to the Parque do Ibirapuera and some shopping malls like Vila Olimpia (which has a number of shops of nice local brands). You could reach everything by foot, but nobody is doing this... More

Stayed at Blue Tree Faria Lima on recent business trip. Rate was about US$240. Other than being convenient to the many business offices along Av. Juscelino Kubitschek, this hotel has little else going for it. My room was small and plain. The bed is a Murphy Bed that folds down out of the wall. Mold in the shower was another... More

The carpet was dirty, there was a bad smell from the AC ducts (no maintenance), bed sheet with yellow stains, the good thing of this hotel is the location and breakfast, nothing else, not worth for the price!!

The location of this hotel is great. Faria Lima is a main drag and felt quite safe as a single female wlaking everywhere, even in the early evening and early Sunday morning. Close to a large shopping mall with smaller shops on the way (it is the place to buy leather - shoes, nags, belts), and the variety of the... More
