“Would stay again”

I was going to write all 5's, but neither the dishwasher nor the washer worked correctly. Everything else was good. Good rooms, good location, friendly staff, good breakfast (but NOT free :( unfortunately)

“Fair option.”

Well located, looks recently renewed (may/13). LIKE: Location, Bath/Shower, room facilities. POOR: Breakfest, wi-fi speed. The street is a dead end, so very quiet. Several good restaurants near by. Cable TV with wide option of channels (en, es, pt language).

“Overall good experience - recommended”

Good central location. Quiet neighbourhood. Nice functional room with small kitchen. Ordered room service: simple and good. Quick service. TV did not work properly. Wifi worked fine. Service at front desk was fast and good.

“Easter Break”

The aparhotel is located in a very leafy and green part of the city, away from busy city streets and extremely quiet. Great pool...a little overheated though. The Geardino II has become our choice hotel when we travel to Porto Alegre...friendly and efficient staff always ready to please.

“Like an Apartment”

As others have stated, this hotel is on a quiet street a short walk from many restaurants and bars in Porto Alegre. The location is quite convenient. The hotel seems small and is very quiet. The rooms feel like you're in an apartment. The small kitchen was nice and I was surprised to have a patio complete with outdoor barbeque.... More

“Nike Director visit”

I wanted to check this place out for a future long term stay for Masters World Champs in Athletics (october 2013). The room was spacious with a kitchen and a balcony. Nice. “an apartment, not a room”

The hotel is located in Moinhos de Vento, the best neighbourhood in Porto Alegre, in a quiet side street but in walking distance of bars and restaurants. The room is actually a well furnished apartment, complete with kitchen, washer and dryer. Free parking, free wifi, good breakfast.

Awesome hotel to explore Porto Alegre. Situated in a quiet street, near the best bars and restaurants in Moinhos de Vento neighborhood and Padre Chagas street.
