Last month I went for Natal, i've been there several times, bur never at Golden Tulip. I searched at the web site and there is really a photoshop effect! Hotel is old, need repair. The gyn infrastructure is horrible. Internet dont work. I would rreally consider return there.

I usually stay in GT when I go to Natal. It has a very good location and a terrific skyline view, both sea and city. Comfortable rooms and bathrooms. Room service may take long to deliver. very long. Going up and down by elevator between 8h-9h a.m. can change you mood negatively.

This hotel is located in a reasonably good area - more targeted at the business traveller rather than tourists. For tourists I'd recommend heading down to Ponta Negra rather than the Areia Preta or Petropolis area. The hotel is about a 5 minute walk down to the beach and is walking distance for a good range of restaurants and bars.... More
