Great location - only one block from Copacabana beach in Rio. The hotel staff were excellent. Three star hotel but felt like four star service. Rooms were very nice and clean. I plan to stay again next year.

We stayed at this hotel for 3 days when we first landed in Brazil. On long haul we normally book 4* hotels but thought this would be a good place just to get aclimatised etc. Our room was huge, on the top floor with a balcony so overlooked the hotels in front of us to give us a beach view....

Check in was smooth and the doorman and reception staff were friendly.
Upon arrival in the room the wi-fi didn’t work, and there was a dirty wet mess on the balcony from the leaky air-con unit. There was also a huge damp patch on the inside wall beneath the unit.
I complained to the front desk but stopped short of...

Clean and Comfortable. Very well located, just a block away from Copacabana Beach (and about a third of the price of a beachside hotel). Plenty of restaurants etc nearby. Staff helpful and most speak a bit of English. The buffet breakfast is not the best ever but is well okay. There is a roof-top pool - did not swim but...

This hotel really has a lot going for it. Location for one. On a leafy street one block from Copacabana beach. The building is taller than most others on its block, offering nice views from the higher floors. The top floor has a small pool and fitness center which has excellent views of the beach and the neighborhood. We spent...

To be honest I was dissappointed with this hotel. I invariably stay at a Windsor, but have never stayed at the Palace, with my usual choice being the Excelsior. I booked an "Executive" room which indeed was large, with a big King-size bed. Beyond that I can't find anything really good to say - the big room had one shabby...

I´ll be blunt: the furniture of this hotel is very outdated (in the bedroom and in the common areas). However, is a very good hotel. Regular breakfast. Large rooms. Very well located. The front desk staff is very attentive and helpful. It has a swimming pool, bar and gym on the terrace with a very very beautiful view of Copacabana...

The Windsor Palace is just a block away from the world famous Copacabana beach in Rio so you can just wear your swim suit, grab a towel and dash to the beach for a dip in the ocean. There are also some decent restaurants in the neighbourhood as well as shops where you can stock up on water and other...

I stayed here for 5 nights over the Carnival period, when I had little choice of where to stay.
From some of the previous reviews I came here with fairly low expectations, but these were well exceeded. Theres nothing very special about the hotel, but theres nothing I found very wrong with it either.
The location is excellent, one block...
