“By and far one of the best Hotels in Copacabana beach”

One of the best Hotels in Rio, excellent service, very courteous staff, ideal location, have stayed there several times and whenever I can choose it´s my preference. Ample rooms, wide kingsize bed, nice breakfast, only drawback is that its only 2 elevators sometimes cannot t cope with the guests traffic, mainly around 09:30am for check-out

“Great Hotel on Copacabana Beach!”

Perfectly situated on Copacabana, it's convenient to Ipanema Beach and Sugarloaf Mountain. Nice little neighborhood and easy strolling to night markets. Rooms are very nice and a great spread for breakfast - also with great views. Rooftop pool overlooks beach as well as up to Christ the Redeemer.

“Not worth the price”

Couldn't afford the copacabana so went for a hotel with a high rating even though still expensive. Hotel was a 3 star at best. Rooms are old and dated. The Porto Bay is worth every penny. This is a boutique-style hotel, right on the beach and with exemplary service. Our room had expansive views of Copacabana. “Very expensive, rude staff and disappointing”
