This is a beautiful hotel with an excellent staff and right on Copacabana beach - but be prepared to wait in line! Everything about this hotel is busy busy busy. Even the wait for your cab to pull into the drop off areas can be ridiculous at times. Otherwise a great choice!

Located at the top end of the Copacabana, the Windsor Atlantica offers postcard views down the beach, and is right across the road from Rio's most famous stretch of sand. Staff was very courteous and helpful, and location was very convenient to Copacabana beach. Rooms were clean and well furnished. My only concern is that the room would get very hot during the day. In an effort to save power, the power to the room shuts down when the room key is removed.
