We stayed here as a group of 5 friends for 2 nights. We stayed in a 10 bed dorm which was fine, but did smell a bit. I think any 10 bed dorm would though. The beds were comfy and had curtains around them. The place was clean and actually felt quite quiet and chilled. There are a couple computers... More

Great hostel to stay in Rio de Janeiro. It is in the central region, just minutes to Lapa where there are several bars for fun. For the region of beaches is necessary to take subway or bus, but easy access. The rooms and bathrooms are cleaned daily. Highlighting the great staff, attentive to resolve their issues and initiate Happy Hour!... More

Once you climb the hill and the stairs and the ramps and the stairs, you are welcomed by a staff member offering you some water. It's a very clean hostel. The dorms & bathrooms are cleaned daily. The sheets are fresh. They have reliable wi-fi on the main floor! The common area is very comfortable. There's a bar and a... More

I had good luck with hostels in Brazil (with one glaring exception) and Bossa In was one of the best. The location is great. Staying further from the beaches and Sugarloaf made me and my traveling companions do more exploring of the city itself rather than just hang out. Santa Teresa (uphill from the hostel) was a fantastic place to... More

Bossa is a decent, affordable option in the Santa Teresa/Lapa area. I stayed with 4 of my friends in one of the 6 person rooms. The room was OK - the beds were comfortable and each one had its own power socket, light and curtain. The living room area was quite social and is a good place to meet other... More

This hostel is great and affordable. The rooms are very modern, clean and offer enough space for all occupants. The staff are great, hospitable and helpful! We stayed in a four bed dorm room, which was at the back of the building and had its own garden area with sun beds, which was lovely- a great way to relax after... More

Great value for money!!! Only con is thats its far from the beaches.. Rooms are clean and tidy, u even have a built in curtain on the bed, santa teresa is beautiful and it is really close to lappa and the city center. but id rather take a bus to the beach than taxis to go out at night un... More

the bossa hostel is very well located in the old town of rio - on the beautiful hills of st. teresa. it's very close to all bars of lapa and once you understand the bus systems (staff gives also introductions for that) you can reach also copacabana, jesus and co. quite fast). some of their rooms are really way better...
