I stayed here in january 2013, the first time I entered the room I saw men hair on three different spots, they moved me to another room as soon as I phoned the reception. Standard reliable novotel mid range hotel quality at, for Rio, reasonable prices. Very convenient if you're travelling through Santos Dumont airport. No other redeeming features for the area. So its fine for what it is, but cannot understand how it currently rates 5th in Rio !

Walking distsnce from downtown, its location is convinient to got the office..... And thats it. Not appropriate to walk about at night and a taxi will be required for dinner if you decide to go out (and you should!). Confortable, new and clean rooms. Very practical at a reasonable price
