Stayed for a couple of nights en route to Rio to enjoy the fun of Paraty. Great little hotel in keeping with the Colonial style of the town and a small pool for a dip to cool off from the days heat. Slightly out of town, it’s a 15 min walk in and a 20 real’s for a cab back.... More

Laguna Blue is a nice cozy Pousada. A really comfortable place to relax after a long active day in and around Paraty. They have great breakfast to start the day as well. It's quiet and simple with a cool tropical feel. I loved the pool and the staff were super friendly.

Beautiful - like a little heaven. Good rooms, gorgeous pool area - staff excellent. Only downside is it is a good walk from Paraty historic centre, but work it as you get to relax in this lovely hotel. This place was really lovely, the staff were really friendly, the breakfast was great and fresh - the only wish is that it was closer to the centre and the rooms were cold in winter and there is no heating, otherwise, no complaints. Would definately recommend.

My friends were robbed in the middle of the night as they slept. You have to leave your keys at the front desk when leaving the premises which i think is wierd. There are a million mosquitos and you will get bit while you sleep..Also there toilets dont work well. There are no safety deposit boxes.
