Have just enjoyed an delightfully relaxing Christmas at this basic but clean and comfortable pousada, which is right on Buzios's trendiest beach (but about 4 km from town, with no direct public transport). It is a traditional Brazilian style pousada which is tastefully decorated with bright, welcoming seaside artwork. A fairly large pousada, built in French style architectiture right on Geriba beach, the largest and the safest beach in Buzios. The hotel is great for families with small children. The best rooms are the suites upstairs, all fairly basic but clean and comfortable. Leave your verandah doors open and let the sound of the sea lull you to sleep.... More
