I was staying in Jeri but kiting in Prea and wanted a safe place to store stuff during the day (cash etc) and my equipment at night (to avoid dragging all the stuff back and forth). If you enjoy nature with out giving up comfort, the lodge Rancho do Peixe is the ideal place for you to spend your holidays and relax. I didn`t stay there, but went 3 days in a row to practice kitesurf. My wife and I, her mainly, stayed the whole day enjoying that place. Stayed at Rancho do Peixe for two nights and wish I'd stayed longer! Preá is just a small fishing village about 15-20 minues from Jeri, but it's much calmer, much more quiet, and was perfect for hanging out, enjoying the sun and the water, reading, and eating *excellent* food. Sister hotel to (Pousada) Vila Kalango in nearby Jericoacoara (where we stayed for three nights beforehand), Rancho do Peixe is a far better stay if you’re looking for the ultimate in peace and serenity (and non-stop kite/windsurfing).
