Sublime location. If you want a bit of getting "close to nature", I can hardly think of a better (inland) place to simply rest, relax and recharge batteries. My cabin (Jatata) was open to the elements, but with a large mosquito net. Pure peace and fresh air. You can lie in your hammock in the morning, watching humming-birds, parakeets, the... More

A lovely place to relax in the cloud forest for a few days, the cabanas are very secluded, and the hot tub is worth the splurge. Restaurant was also very good, many tasty local dishes on offer- try the banana and rice main course. But 10 days on and we are both still covered in bites from bed bugs. Not... More

My partner and I just loved being here for 4 days! Beautiful, simple eco-cabins in the middle of jungle with abundant wildlife to view from the deck! Outside toilet and shower for our cabin. I love how they also have recycling, composting and building with natural materials. We also got massages which were great and done in the meditation room... More

A bit of a hike out of town but well worth it for a few days relaxation in a jungle setting. Sit and relax by the pool or anywhere in the gardens around the property or on the verandahs. Plenty of communal space inside and outside although it didn't seem like there was much mingling. Food is incredible: delicious with... More

This is one of the best places Ive ever stayed. Not in terms of pampering and service and food but in terms of the incredible view and the, I guess, 'vibe' of the amazing cabins. Definitely go for 'Alaya', which is up the top and has the best view. You feel a part of and apart from the lush jungle... More

We stayed here after a couple of weeks traversing the very cold Bolivian altiplano, and it was a refreshing stop. The hotel sits above the town on Coroico, with stunning views overlooking the river valleys and mountains below. The open air cabins on the upper part of the hotel property are awesome, come during the off season and the price... More

We arrived at Sol y Luna to find our reservation had not been kept, which turned into an argument (no apology!) and we were given another cabana which turned out to be really nice. It had a great kitchen and views. We were glad we stayed despite their rudeness though because it is a beautiful place. We did have a... More

Great hostal to relax in- swimming pool, views, hammocks and a big garden. Staff were very disorganised though, and a little bit strange. The attached restaurant is not that great, so it is a bit of a hike to walk into town to get food if you don't have a room with a kitchen (this can be a little scary... More

The property was huge and really lovely to explore. The flowers and coffee plants were great and had a wonderful view of Coroico and the valley. We stayed in the Bamboo cabin and it was perfect, with a lovely view and outside kitchen. The shower left a little to be desired. The kitchen was well equipped but we didn't realise... More
