The hotel is within walking distance of JR Shimonoseki Station (note that this is not Shin-Shimoneski where some of the Shinkansen trains stop, but rather Shimonoseki station which is only served by local trains--it is about 10 minutes from Kokura station with regular service). I stayed overnight in late November, 2011. Bed and breakfast costed 7400 JPY with cleaned room, wide comfortable bed, and shower room. I loved taking a Japanese style spa, containing natural solt, made my body keep warming. It felt me very relax.
