Although I didn't stay here, I did visit during a day trip to Abingdon. The staff was very friendly and didn't seem to mind us wandering through the lobby and surround rooms. The Martha Washington Hotel is a great place. The staff very helpful and the glass of Port in the evening was a nice touch. The best thing is the salt water pool, after a long drive very refreshing. The rooms are large and very nice. Great stay and will be back.
