Just leaving our Alta vacation. Upon arrival our room was warm, within two hours had reached 90! We made front desk aware and after an unsuccessful visit from maintenance they moved us to a room without direct midday sunlight. We still had an amazing view. This is a great place to go if you are focused on skiing and hanging out with family. The food and rooms certainly take a back seat but that is not their focus. Everyone is helpful and it seems like they really enjoy their work. We had a great time!

Alta is a ski lodge at a mountain where all the action is skiing. No snowboarding, no full-service spas (though they offer massage), no night life, no fast food. Alta Lodge is one of those special places that you know you will return to again and again. You feel like you are at home when you are there. You can tell the family prides themselves on each guest's experience. And, the food is amazing! I look forward to coming back.
