Party central right in the heart of downtown Austin. Nice place but BEWARE, they charge $26 per night for PARKING! I got a great deal on Hotwire but in the end it wasn't that great of a deal.
Overall, the rooms weren't terribly dirty, although some of the towels were disgusting, but the real shock of the trip was when my electric razor (AND charger cord) went missing following a maid service. I politely suggested that it may have "accidentally" been snatched up with the towels to three different hotel customer service workers, however each let me know...

This hotel is in the vicinity of the convention center, but it's not one of the ones right across the street from it. You can walk in 5 minutes.
