I found the Hampton Inn Austin to be very comfortable starting with making reservations. I was planning a trip for 6 ladies/3 rooms. Marilyn was so friendly and worked to get our rooms together. Rose is the reason I stay here. Her customer service and great attitude (even when people are rude) is exemplary. The breakfast is always fresh, but need more bananas. Great fitness center. Convenient to the Pickles research grounds.

Hotel is clean and well maintained, staff is incredibly polite and helpful, breakfast was varied and fresh. This hotel is a good value for those looking to stay just outside downtown. You're right beside 183 and Mopac which are main arteries serving downtown. Highly recommended.

This is pretty much a standard-issue Hampton Inn. It's got all the amenities of other Hampton Inns, but no more. Some of the Hampton Inns have little extras in the room. This one did not, but was certainly comfortable and very close to The Domain, which was convenient. Overall nice, quiet and workable.
