Had Heard of Aiken S.C a while ago but had not had the opportunity to make it there till now. I am a big fan of historical hotels and this one delivers. The room was spacious and had lots of natural light.

My time at the Willcox was one of the best vacation destinations i've ever had the luxury of enjoying.
The food was AMAZING and the rooms were comfortable and well tended to.

We were a little disappointed. We had read all the wonderful reviews so we were a little shocked to see that our room had sticky carpet and mold in the shower! The hotel is in a great location, the staff was very friendly, but our room lacked the overall cleanliness that we were expecting. We asked about the Select Registry...

We had a great two nights at The Willcox. The room was perfect and clean. Service was truly
outstanding, including Candace and Laura. John did an excellent job as the bartender, who also served our meal in the lobby which adjoins the restaurant. The food was outstanding.

We had the pleasure of staying at this lovely hotel over the masters week. The staff were terrific, the rooms great and the attention to guests care was excellent. I had a small problem and the manager fixed it immediately without question with real style.
This is a historic hotel that has been updated to today's standards. It is a very pleasant hotel with a comfortable lobby and adjacent bar. Our meals were prepared well and the service was good. Very accommodating staff, pleasant to deal with and very informative.
I had lunch and a message on a rainy day! What a treat. The art is unbelievable...fireplaces...furniture, what a nice place.
We dined at the Willcox Hotel in a Aiken last night, it's a favorite of ours and we always look forward to dining here at least once during our visits to Aiken. Like Aiken, it is a southern gem.

Willcox has old world charm, a wonderful bar and restaurant , and sits on the edge of Hitchcock Woods. This wonderful urban park is a little known gem! This is a great getaway destination! Rooms are big and comfortable. Cost is very reasonable. Highly recommend!
This is a lovely, old hotel, restored with care and attention to detail. Dark, polished woodwork, oversized leather chairs.
We had a huge bedroom/sitting room and a huge bathroom with all the amenities. Downstairs there is a large, inviting living room and a small bar with a friendly bartender. You can enjoy your drink inside or, if the weather is...
