OK. So. Here is the thing: the location? Fantastic. You can walk easily to anywhere in downtown Ashland. The house? Beautiful and well kept. The room? Nooks, crannies, gorgeous (we took pictures). The garden? Lovely in the morning, useful during meals (they used items from it for breakfast). The reviews we had read about breakfast were why we chose this... More

We visited Ashland for the first time a few days ago, and were very happy to land at the Albion Inn. The innkeeper, Cyd , is very friendly and happy to give each guest a tour of the house. She makes delicious snacks like sesame cookies, provides sherry for later in the evening, and makes great breakfasts like the blueberry/lemon... More

This was my fourth stay at the Albion Inn. I have become quite attached to the Chautauqua suite and always look forward to visiting my home away from home. One of the best things about a stay at the Albion is meeting the other guests. This year I met and shared the table with two sets of longtime friends who... More

My friend and I had a lovely stay at the Albion Inn. We stayed in a room off the garden with a separate entrance. We chose the 2 twin bed configuration, but the beds can also be arranged as one bed. The room was beautifully decorated, with wonderful windows for light and ventilation (there was also air conditioning with. Controls... More

The Albion Inn is absolutely lovely! It has a wonderful romantic and homey vibe. The Innkeeper Cydd made us feel right at home. The breakfast she made was delicious! It was organic and non-GMO and she takes into account the dietary needs of her guests (gluten-free etc). She also makes fresh coffee at 7:00 am which is great for caffeine... More

We have stayed at many of the B & B's in Ashland and have added this to the top of our FAVORITES list. The Albion is very reasonably priced, and if you stay during the off season you have a chance to have the entire house to yourself which we thoroughly enjoyed. However, our delicious breakfast was not lonely as... More

Thank you so much for signing up to leave your first review! What effort, and such a nice review. Thank you for your kind words and for the good conversation at breakfast. We look forward to hosting you again! I suppose I should mention that breakfast conversation is not required of our guests. So many of these wonderful reviews talk... More

This is a beautiful property located on a quiet side street within easy walking distance of downtown Ashland. The home itself has been lovingly restored, and is exceptionally well maintained. There are three large bedrooms upstairs in the main house, and two rooms outside facing the beautiful garden, all with private baths. The outside rooms are dog friendly, so your... More

Such a glowing review from such an experienced and trusted reviewer! Thank you so much. I appreciate the details in your review--you really give the flavor of the place. The "Best Breakfast in Ashland" title is true to a certain degree--my recipe for Blueberry/Lemon-Curd Dutch Baby pancakes was just ranked among the 8 Best Breakfasts in the country for 2013.... More

Fantastic and convenient Inn. They were not only dog friendly but dog lovers. The Inn Keeper Cyd is a warm and welcoming person and makes a really fantastic organic breakfast. She's also fascinating to chat with! The place is very convenient to everything, you can leave your car and cruise around on foot or bike. We highly recommend Albion Inn!

Thank you for your super review! Yes, we decided to make the inn pet friendly when we took over because we never, ever, go anywhere without our two dogs, so for us it's the Golden Rule. Pets are only allowed in the two courtyard rooms; never in the main house. Our guests seem to enjoy our dogs and cats and... More

We stayed for our second time in 2 years, and this B&B is still every bit as wonderful as we found it before. The location is very good, a 5-7 minute walk to the theaters on back streets or the main street. The bedrooms are charming, large and well appointed. Best of all is the owner Cyd, who is delightful;... More
