We stayed at this conveniently located B & B, but what we did not know is that they are "dog friendly", and this meant that the people in the room next to us had a dog with them that barked during the night. They told us in the morning that they noticed the dog was barking so they had the... More

I'm actually the other friend of the person who wrote the review on May 8 and just wanted to add to our experience at The Albion Inn. The room we stayed in was the Garden King/Twin which can be used as either a King with the two beds together or separated as twin beds which is ideal for two ladies... More

Thanks so much for your kind review. The name of the room you stayed in is actually the Courtyard King, which is out in the garden next door to the Courtyard Queen. The Courtyard rooms are the two pet-friendly rooms. They are located outside in the courtyard/garden. There's a different room upstairs, inside the house, called the Garden View, which... More

I went for 4 nights with a friend to Ashland and we just returned from our stay at The Albion Inn. It was a wonderful experience. We stayed in a twin bedded room just off the garden and it was quiet, comfortable and so close to town that we were able to experience the nightlife without ever getting in the... More

I wrote a review many months ago, but it never appeared on the site, so I will try again. We have stayed at several B&Bs and a hotel in Ashland and Albion Inn is our favorite. We have stayed there now many times. Started staying at the B&B when it was just purchased (many years ago) by the current owners... More

Thank you for taking the time and trouble to repost your review after it disappeared into the ether. I'm so glad you posted the pretty food pictures! I like the one with the raspberries over pear slices--must make that again someday! See you again soon! More

We needed a B & B with two separate ground floor rooms and the Albion Inn fit the bill perfectly. We rented the Garden King and Garden Queen in March 2012. I suspect that in the summer, when the garden is in bloom, it would be even better. The Inn is well located, with restaurants close by and a reasonable... More

It was great hosting you. I'm very happy that the accommodations worked for you, especially considering your disappointment with the play you saw. Thank you for taking the time to post your review for the Albion and for the two restaurants you ate at. Best wishes. More

Friendly inn and innkeepers with the best breakfast ever. Albion inn has comfortable rooms, with privacy, a beautiful garden, cozy common areas, and great location. The inn area is quiet, but easy walk to the theaters and main downtown area with Lithia Park. This was a great find.

I love the Albion Inn! My experience from the moment of arrival to departure was simply wonderful. I arrived late as it took time to get over the pass and Gary greeted my husky friend and i with a little tour and a plate of fresh baked gluten free cookies, how great is that?! The grounds and rooms are beautiful..... More

My husband and I have stayed at a number of B&Bs. Albion Inn is distinguished from the rest on two accounts. First, the decor of the room, while cozy, was not excessively frou frou. More important, we felt truly welcomed into the rest of the house and not relegated to our room. The size of the room (The Garden View... More

Thank you for taking the time to write this very nice review. I appreciate how you shared the solution we came up with together to the no-phone-in-lobby conundrum. All future phoneless travellers will be able to come into the house and page us using the cell phone in the basket on the desk. We'll also put an extra bath towel... More

I have stayed at the Albion Inn for the last three years during summer visits to the Shakespearean Festival. It's a place to come back to. The inn has a separate cottage with two adjoining rooms, one of which can be set up as two twins or one king. I travel with female friends and struggle to find a B&B... More

Great location. Walk to everything in Ashland (which is an exceptional small town), but it's still quiet. Comfortable rooms, nothing special. Interesting hostess who will keep you thinking, entertained, and well fed. Excellent breakfasts from fresh seasonal local ingredients. If you don't know, Oregon Shakespeare Festival is one of the very best repertory theater companies in the country, and it's... More

Thank you for the good review! Yes, the Albion Inn was built in 1902 as a family farm house, hence our bedrooms and baths are not as impressive as many inns in town that started their lives as grand homes with high ceilings and large-scale spaces. We try to do the very best with what we have been given to... More
