We had to leave due to fungi on the walls after every rain as the buildings lack proper isolation and absorbs the rainwater so much that it can be clearly seen from inside. Besides, the plastic windows and doors are so old... More

We have been going to Gumbet since 2007 and normally stay elsewhere. Unfortunately, our usual accommodation wasn't available - so we chose to book the Almina as friends had stayed before and it came with good recommendations! We weren't disappointed.. When we got off our transfer at first we couldnt get our bearings (You'll find them soon enough) Just head... More

When we stayed there was a large amount of people who were all rangers supporters, although they did not cause trouble, they... More

First of all after many trips abroad, this is the first time we have felt the need to write a review as we were so disapointed with our accomodattion. This is a very basic hotel, the pool is shaded and noisy,There are 2 large umberellas whch cover most of the pool, no good for sun worshippers. The rooms are very small... More

(You have to order the day before so that they can get it off the boat in the morning.) One downside is that it's quite a trek... More
