Overall, this hotel is not bad for the price. The location is also not bad. We Can walk to quite a few places. The Room is small but clean. My room had enough room for two beds. The Bathroom also rather clean. I could even open up my umbrella to dry on the bathroom.

Booked this hotel because of its location. And I was really happy with it! Short working distance to the main shopping malls, transport stops and meals places. Hop-on/hop-off bus stop just in front of the entrance. The hotel itself is rather general and economy concept. So you will feel here comfortable and relaxed for your money without any pretension for premium and luxury services. Everything is modest, good and cost it’s value. I recommend to stay in Ambassador if you spend all your day out for shopping and sightseeing - returning in the evening back to this calm place will be as a reward)

Been travelling a lot and this was the worst experience I've ever had. I was planning to have 3 nights stay in this hotel until a female staff from reception named Aida who was being unprofessional and rude. I was inquiring about the room deposit whether it could be collected later when I arrive at night time instead of collecting from my parents who will be checking in in the evening. I work in the hotel line as well and I do believe every hotel has their own policies, that was why I called for inquiry to avoid any misunderstanding upon check in. So she told me they will still have to collect the room deposit upon check in, so I asked if there is any negotiation could be made and she said no. It's completely fine for me and no hard feelings at all because this is their policies. I just mentioned that this hotel has different policies from some other hotels ( as I just called a few earlier around that area and they are fine with it). So I told her I will think about it and "thank you". What she did was giving me a sarcastic laugh without saying any single thing to end the conversation with me, and talked behind me before hanging up the phone. SERIOUSLY?! I was really speechless and angry so I called the hotel again and told her what I heard before she hung up the phone, and the only word she replied me "So?" I asked again if that is the right way to handle guests, and that was when the rude conversation from her began. She accused me of saying that I will be looking for another hotel and not planning to stay here. I DID NOT EVER MENTIONED THAT I AM GOING TO LOOK FOR ANOTHER HOTEL and I don't even understand what makes her feel that way. She also said that "Just RM50 only! Ask your parents to pay for the deposit first LAH, then only ask them to collect from you, make it easy for that LAH!" HELLO! Of course I know I can pay my parents back the deposit BUT the main purpose I called to the hotel was to ask if they can collect the deposit from me later as I dont want my parents to spend money in this trip. Then she asked me again "So? What you want me to do now? You want to scold me? ........" I can't really recall what she said in the middle of the conversation but I will NEVER EVER forget what she said in the last part " Or you want to come over and slap me?" SERIOUSLY?! I stopped my conversation with her immediately and requested to speak to the manager. She put me on hold for quite long time until the manager Ms. Hendri (apologize if I spelled her name wrongly) to pick up the phone, so I do believe that rude staff had spoken with her about the incident. I dont know if that staff hid her mistakes while delivering this incident to the manager, so I just briefly talked about it and asked if that was how the way a hotel trains their staffs. Ms Hendri said she will have a word with her, and I hope she really does as I assume she is a professional hotelier from how the way she handled this incident. Nevertheless, it was a really worst experience and I am grateful that I did not confirm my reservation here with them, I will never ever consider to stay in this hotel anymore.

I booked this Hotel because of the location. I read some not so nice reviews. However, from staff to location cleanliness and amenities it was better than I could hope for considering this rate. I liked the no-bulls#$% friendliness of the staff. In the Philippines one gets this super friendly bright smile but a lot of nonsense answers and wrong info. The 3 people I had to deal at this hotel were equipped with less (faked) smiles, but straight to the point, very helpful and knowledgeable. It appears that the place has undergone some renovations. Everything in my room was brand-new and spotless clean. One can’t say anything about the location, just perfect if you want to go shopping and sigh seeing all by foot. Simply can’t wish for more for under 30$ a night. Sleeping comfort was great, aircon new and silent I also asked for an hour extension of the checkout time and could stay without added charge.

I saw many good reviews about this hotel in TripAdvisor and Agoda around February or amarch 2017, so i decided to book a triple family room for 3 nights from 29th july to 1st august. I know it is a cheap hotel with a good location. But i didn't think that it will turn to be a nightmare for me and family. The triple room is far different compare to the photos they exhibit at the website. When i first check in, it took me about 10 minutes to decide to change to another room because it is not just dirty, it is like the room is in chaos. 1. The sheet and the pillow is yellow stained even though they said it was fresh 2. The wall is cracked and stained badly, some part of the paint is peeled off, and the plint is peeled off also and it seemed that they don't care because they just put it on the floor without fixing it. 3. There are mould on some of the ceiling 4. The towel is stained 5. The slippers is worn off from many times used and the right and left slipper didn't match 6. The cupboard is dirty and dusty 7. Some of the ceiling in front of the room have a hole on it 8. The air conditioner is not working 9. And there is a wall separate the beds, even though the photo on the web shows no wall between the beds. And after i request for another room, they said it is fully booked and they will look if there is another triple room for tomorrow for me. At that time me and my family decide to move to another hotel because we cannot imagine have to stay one night in that condition. After i tell the manager/owner of the hotel that i want to check out without asking any refund, they forced me to see another room before we decide to check out, and they show me another triple room with a little better condition (the wall and the ceiling is newly painted),but it is still a dirty room and looks different compare to the photos on the web. At that times i knew they have lied to me, because there is not only one, but two triple room available for me to move into even though they said they are fully booked at first. The manager/owner try to persuade me to stay but i had enough of it. And surprisingly he said that he is not happy to see me leave, and they didn't even think about how i feel about my room at the first place. A really really bad and horrible experience for me, and there is a much better hotels option in the area with a little higher price.

The view from 4th floor was amazing with KL tower, monorail and HSBC bank. The bukit bintang MRT was 2 mins away and the GO KL free bus stop was just the opposite. Location of the hotel was very nice. Hotel staff allowed us early check-in and were very co-operative. The wi-fi was not continuous, maybe the higher floors were not signal receptive.

Hotel just a walking distance to Pavillion, Berjaya Times Square & Bukit Bintang, Petaling Street. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel is situated beside main road as we stayed on the second floor, we can hear noises from the street. The room is quite neat and clean but a little bit rundown. We had dinner @ Food Republic in Pavillion with a lot choices of food to choose from.
