Stayed there for about a week in mid February. Were plesantly suprised after reading all the bad comments. Got a free upgrade and for the price that we actually paid for the room it was very resonable. Plesant staff at the reception, clean rooms.

The room is slightly dusty and caused my wife and I to sneeze when the air-con is on... (not flu btw) For everything else it is great. Really convenient place to get to anywhere (if you drive) within Kuala Lumpur. Easy to park your car. Friendly staff and Great Breakfast (if you like it the Malaysian style)..

From Maluri Station, we got upset where the locations of d'Garden, we tried to follow from the map but we didn't get the directions, after that we asked someone at 711 near station, and he told us that we have to cross the street by bridge and take a walk. If you are a smoker, this is the place for you. Certain hours of the night, the reception is full of cigarette smoke. the hallway even on the 1st floor gets a smoking smell due to the opening of a stairway from the reception connected to the 1st floor.

Service at reception is adequate.
The room is pleasant enough but the bathroom needs a total re-design. Very small and no shower screen or curtain. It is possible to wet the carpet in the bedroom if you are not very careful.
Location is quite a long way from the city centre and KL attractions. Taxi drivers have trouble finding it....

We stayed at this hotel based on Trip Advisor recommendations and we weren't disappointed. The rooms were basic, but came with free wifi, free bottled water from fountains in the hallway and a hot Malay breakfast- all of the basic things a traveler needs!
The room was small and old. The ceiling of the toilet in the room we stayed was leaking. There was an unpleasant smell in the room probably due to the carpet which looked old. We were disappointed because the pictures of the rooms shown on the internet were attractive which was not the real case.
Breakfast consisted of bread, sandwiches,...
