It is not real convenient to my normal travel schedule in Japan. For hotels though, I do prefer Osaka to Kyoto. This is a good one, slightly off the beaten path. If you don't mind walking and following a map, this is a great place to stay.

i stayed here for a couple of nights was not very impressed with the service food was okay very difficult to communicate if you are not Japanese location is not bad there is a bar/restaurant area just behind the hotel which is very busy on the weekends
