I stayed here with a friend in April 2013 and have nothing bad to say about this place! We stayed in two different rooms for a week, as some of the rooms were occupied at certain times. Both rooms were in great condition (albeit a bit small but you get what you pay for) and the bathrooms, kitchen, and common... More

My husband and I stayed at the CaminoRo in Osaka because it was close to my husband's relatives. We were meeting his Japanese relatives for the first time and asked Koji--the owner--to also be our interpreter since Carl's family didn't speak much English. Koji is now considered part of the family!! We enjoyed getting to know him and his wife... More

I stayed in Caminoro back in March 2011 (yep I survived the earthquake).I guess it's still valid to share my experience while staying there. Koji-san and Taeko-san were really, really helpful during my stay over there. They spoke very good English, so travellers who do not understand Japanese English/Japanese, rest assured these people will go an extra mile to help you.I... I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Caminoro Guesthouse. Koji and Taeko were very kind, helpful and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfy. Towels were provided. I felt safe at the guesthouse. The guesthouse is also close to traditional restaurants and away from the busy city yet a short walk to the subway and one stop from Shin Osaka. Thanks... More

This place is a godsend! Lets start first with the fantastic people of the house. The innkeepers Koji and Taeko san is ever so helpful in rendering us help upon our arrival, showering us with maps and many other informative brochures. Room was cozy and clean, though you are reminded to be careful with the expensive tatami flooring. Shower rooms... More

I stayed at the guesthouse in end Jul'12 in 4 beds women dorm. The couple was very friendly and helpful. Every night when I was planning on my next day itinerary, they would give me advice and direction of the places. They also suggested the good food restaurant and coffee around the area. Guesthouse location is slightly far from Higashi-Mikuni... More

Guesthouse CaminoRo is located just North of the Umeda area of Osaka, a 7 minute walk to the Hankyu line and a 15 minute walk to the Higashi-Mikuni station on the Osaka Subway. Just being out of town was nice, as it was a cute local neighborhood away from the occasionally grotty touristy areas of Osaka. The room was a... More

I have stayed in several hostels before, but this is the 1st time I really feel a need to write a review for the owner. The service and length they went to really made me feel very touched. For instance, when I briefly mentioned that I planned to go to the Ramen museum, the owner actually searched and printed out... More

The guest house is right in the middle of the shopping district. The couple who runs the hostel speaks English well and has travelled to a number of places so they know what backpackers need. They are great at giving directions also.

We stayed only one night in Caminoro but wished we could have stayed longer ! The staff is extremely friendly, and have the cutest little girl. We had to postpone our trip because of the tsunami and they have been very nice and helpful both times. They speak perfect english also. The location is quite far, but they provide a... More
