The service and location were excellent. It was very close to Kyoto Station were you can take buses to all the temples. The breakfast was also great it was a buffet style breakfast with a lot of different choices I really enjoyed the rice and fish dishes. The bed was a bit small for me since I am tall but... More

The hotel is 2 blocks close to the Kyoto Station (subway, train and buses), which makes it perfect to go around to the touristic places. They are also part of the Kyoto Tower hotel chain and we have been given 2 tickets to visit the Kyoto tower for free saving us around 8 dollars each. The hotel is not new... More

I stayed in Japan for 10 days and this room the smallest out of all our hotels we stayed in (2 or 3 star hotels) Im 5"1 female who is chinese and I found the shower very small. Quite japanesy!. The shower was very powerful though. One thing i will say is leave the hair-dryers and straighteners at home. They... More

Very very well located, just 2 mins from Kyoto station. Good sized rooms, I was surprised that I had lots of room to move around in after bringing 2 pieces of check in luggage with me. The bathrooms are small but rather amusing, its like a kit bathroom has been plonked into the room, its all sealed with walls but... More

Needed to stay near the station but our target hotel was not available on the dates we were in Kyoto till 2 days later. Nonetheless it turned out to be a good alternative. Rooms were small even for Asians but since we were out most of the days we didn't mind the size of the rooms. The beds were quite... More

Despite being told by the tour operator that this hotel would be smaller than the one I would be staying in in Tokyo this hotel was quite large. The lobby was larger and the breakfast room was too.The breakfast on offer was comparable(the Tokyo hotel was Citadines Shinjuku).Again staff spoke some English.Very polite staff,The room was ample for a solo... The Hotel was very close to the trains which was good, and also close to some shops. We got free tickets to go on the Kyoto Tower which gave us a great view over Kyoto. The service was very good and the hotel was very clean. The only downside really was the size of the room, it was very small... More

Hotel is well situated close to the main Kyoto Railway Station. Reception and other staff are all friendly and helpful and most speak good English. Breakfast is very good with a wide choice of hot and cold Japanese and western food. Unfortunately the rooms are quite small with an attached small "plastic style" bathroom - complimentary shower gel / shampoo.... More

I really liked this hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, nice rooms and a great location. Easy access to all public transportation and a block from the Kyoto Station. They even accommodated me by serving me dinner outside of the restaurant hours. Food was very good. I saved money on breakfast by getting food and coffee from the Family Value... More
