We were very pleasantly surprised by this hotel, especially given the mediocre reviews from past reviewers. Our room was very clean, comfortable (despite the Chinese beds, which is standard around these parts), and in a happening neighbourhood great for people watching and very close to the subway system. The Bostan is a very good, very nice hotel conveniently located in Guangzhou. The staff were very friendly, and I was provided with a spacious room with good air-con. The bed was quite comfortable, and the TV provided good local viewing (in English) as well as some satellite channels.
