Rude, arrogant and lazy is a good summary. Stayed twice in 2012 and march 2013 and frankly their staff lack basic training. Room service for a simple pasta on menu took over 2 hours and 6 phone calls. Even management have no idea what's going on. Save your money and stay anywhere else.

This hotel is new & in a great location if you are visiting the exhibition. 5 star quality at a reasonable price. I have stayed in many hotels in Guangzhou in the past 6 years and the Soluxe Hotel Guangzhou is by far the best. I got a huge room with king size bed and everything you can ask for for US$87/night in the 38th floor. The room and bathroom are amazing.
