Hotel is not in the city center. It's quite far to walk to all the shops and restaurants in the city center. Check in was a bit slow, but friendly. new hotel, built in 2011, located in the center of the city, close to the Angara river. Rooms are clean and service is standart for Marriott hotels. Free wi-fi at the lobby. Breakfast is fine. The best in Irkutsk

We stayed for only for a night and had problems to solve with our foreign registered car. The receptionist went out of their way to help us. Excellent service there. (A bit slower at the bar & restaurant). This hotel is very well managed and a delight to stay in, in rough winterly Siberia.
