The Victoria is smack in the centre of Irkutsk so no complaints. The staff are friendly & helpful with reasonable English. My room was a bit old fashioned but comfortable enough.
It's OK for a couple of nights as a stop-over on the TRans-Siberian Express.

The front staff were attentive and the location is good, but the room was teeny, and the beds, bathroom and breakfast were terrible for the price. You can do better than this.
