“Friendly and relaxed atmosphere”

Downtown hostel is a nice place to stay. We slept for two nights in a dormroom. Beds are clean. Shower is small but ok. There's a kitchen where you can cook, eat or relax. Two computers with internet and wifi in the room is ok. It's cozy, friendly staff.

I stayed at Downtown Hostel when another hostel was full but I was lucky that was the case. I had a very comfortable stay at Downtown Hostel, it was spacious, clean and I felt very taken care of. “Friendly staff, good location, so in general fine”

Very friendly staff. Good location. Again more like a homestay than a real hostel. Only disadvantage: only two room with relatively many beds. Internet is available for a relatively small fee.

On a whim, I chose this place over Baikaler Hostel which was the other hostel in central Irkutsk and I'm very happy with the decision.
