The Ibis on Nevskiy Prospekt is in a very central area of St Petersburg. There is a shopping complex called the Galleria, with a good supermarket only a couple of hundred metres from the hotel, which is near trolley bus services and the metro. Russian hotels are not cheap but this works well and is within walking distance of the main station for Moscow. Standard Ibis but one of the better ones. Wifi, nice little bar, small supermarkets nearby. Good choice.

The hotel is perfectly located. Walking distance to all the sites, and many great restaurants in the area. The room was ideal...roomy, comfortable. large bathroom with a nice supply of ammenities. Breathtaking view.

This is the third Ibis we have stayed in, in 3 different countries. Sometimes it is a disadvantage to be in an international hotel but in St Petersburg it works. Girl-friend & I stayed 3 nights. Good location, close to main railway station and metros and Nevsky Prospect, which many sites are close to. Rooms clean & comfortable. Free Wi-Fi throughout hotel and 2 PCs in the lobby. Breakfast fine. Near big Shopping Centre, but also some cheaper mini-markets for groceries.

Stayed for 1 night in April 2013. The hotel is located very well, close to main railroad station and to Nevsky prospect, so you can just walk around with no problem. The rooms are ok, clean, LCD TV normal beds. The beakfast was not so good though, lack of friuts (I didn't find even apples/bananas) but in general its fine.... More
