We enjoyed the beautiful sunset from our room looking out across the water to the country of Finland from St. Petersburg. The hotel is centrally located for convenient tours of the Summer and Winter Palaces. Beautiful architecture and friendly people. Our friends walked for miles to meet and greet us in the hotel lobby.

This USSR Brezhnev-era facility was built by Swedes in a remote corner of the Vasilievsky Island. The hotel is big, with long corridors to walk, but if you are with a group traveling together by bus, it's a decent place to stay. Even the nearest metro statoin is pretty far away. Conventions often take place in the premises, making it... More

Hotel has enormous tourist dining area, with extensive selection at dinner and breakfast buffets. Rooms have been renovated since soviet era and are comfortable. Multiple ATMs in lobby, apparently unknown to Visa. Location is remote from major sights, but there is a good bus service (No. 7 diesel bus) to Nevsky Prospect; nearest metro station is quite distant. Find out... More

We recently stayed at the Pribaltyiskaya while on tour in the Baltic State and Russia. According to the tour guide, the hotel was built in 1980 for the Olympic Games held in Moscow (the US did not participate that year). Apparently some water events were held in St Petersberg. Of the 7 hotels we stayed at on this tour, this... More

There are probably much better places to stay in St. Petersburg. Pribaltiskaya is a huge hotel (> 2000 beds) in a remote location, nothing worth to see in the direct surrounding of it. It takes app. 30 minutes to go downtown by bus or metro (10 minutes distance). Service is chaotic, breakfast low standard. Rooms are ok. WiFi costs extra.... More

I stayed at Park Inn Pribaltiskaya from 28 Sept till 05 Oct . The rooms are big and comfortable . The room service have no provision to make your food warm ( micro wave) if you are carrying your food from outside. I opted for a laundry service ( 29.09.2009) and paid for the charges at the time of delivery... More

I stayed at the Park Inn Pribaltiskaya hotel for several nights in June ’09 as part of a tour group. The hotel is a former Soviet -era Intourist behemoth (1000s of rooms!) recently brought up to date as a member of the Park Inn group. But although the hotel has lots of useful services you would expect of an at... More

The hotel is a vast cement block in an area of many more Soviet style cement blocks. But it is probably one of the few big enough to accommodate large tour groups such as ours; business conventions, etc. The rooms were small and clean. The furnishings were spartan Ikea style. The twin beds were really narrow and the mattress quite... More

I was not sure what to expect with the quality of hotels in Russia but the Pribaltiskaya Hotel (Park Inn) was a pleasant surprise. The rooms were a good size, quite comfortable and clean. While it may not have been up the the standard of a European 4 star hotel, it certainly was a good standard for Russia. Breakfast was... More

Hotel Pribaltiskaya is an enormous hotel in Saint Petersburg with more dan 2400 beds. The rooms are tide and clean. You have two separate but good beds, the climate in the room is good. Soft pillow, warm, but not too warm deck on bed. Bathroom was clean, perfectly clean, however there was no hairdryer. We had a room with seaview.... More
