Excellent business hotel, very comfortable, good food (although not convinced on the Russian wine!). This is a much better hotel than the major player just down the road.

The location was great and the staff were helpful and friendly. Luckily our group were the only people staying there for most of our stay so we could coordinate our sharing of the one and only shower for 5 bedrooms. The rooms were spacious with high ceilings and cool vintage furniture. The breakfast was lousy. It was noisy on a...

We had a great time here - I wasn't expecting much as I'd heard terrible things about Russian accommodation but this place was fantastic!! A million times better than the terrible Moscow accommodation we stayed at.
The location is brilliant - you can walk to everything! we didn't use the tubes at all and even though it was below 5...

Perhaps my expectations were too high based on the other positive reviews, unfortunately my experience was not so good. This is one of 6 inn in which we have stayed in Russia in 3 visits. It was also the most disappointing. While the location is good, there are a host of other hotels with just as good of a location...

We get a little PO'ed with people who give every place that they stay 5 stars. However, the Nevsky Prospect definitely deserves full marks due to their great location, only 5 minutes walk from the Hermitage, and their excellent value. This is NOT a 5-star international hotel! It's only 5 rooms, shared washroom and shower, and no elevator. But the rooms...

I'm deducting a star because our room smelled dreadfully of cabbage. No obvious cause - it didn't seem to be any kind of sewage problem or anything - but it was quite a powerful stench.
Had this not been the case, a 5 star experience, definitely. A sensibly priced, very very central B&B with wonderfully helpful staff. It might take...

I stayed here 4 days, and had a great experience. The breakfasts were great, and the people were so nice. Interesting entrance area, as you go in off street up a huge set of stairs to this tenancy, B&B. They have a very old, crank type record player in the lobby you have to ask about, The played it for...

Friendly and very accommodating staff. Airport or train pick-up and drop-off included. Drivers waited for us for 2 hours after we discovered our luggage did not arrive (it was a mess) – even helped us talk to the customs person. Wifi included. For breakfast, you pick from Continental (2 eggs, slice of cheese), America, or Russian (blimy, caviar, sour cream)...

Nevsky Prospect B&B was the perfect place for me to stay my five nights in St Petersburg as a single female traveller. It was safe, clean and quiet. And the location couldn't be better - 5 minute walk from the Hermitage and in the center of the tourist attractions. The staff was always helpful, friendly and accommodating. My room was...

B&B Nevsky Prospekt is a delightful bed and breakfast right in the first block of Nevsky Prospekt and a few minutes walk from the Admiralty and the Hermitage. They furnish a free transport to and from the airport or train station and wonderful breakfasts, a choice of European, Russian, or American foods.
We arrived at the airport with no luggage,...
