We stayed here for several nights in September 2011. It is not a fancy hotel but the rooms were more than adequate, clean, and comfortable. The staff was very friendly, exceedingly helpful, and accommodating. It was charming and did not have the impersonal atmosphere of the larger, more westernized hotels. I would stay there again over the bigger hotels.

was surprised to see good hotel, good location and not expensive, as it mainly happens in big cities in Russia. Location is fine, 15 minutes walk to the main nevsky prospekt, or 10 minutes to the underground. qiuet street, that is also nice. Breakfast is fine, the only problem no mini bar in the room.

The Arbat Nord is a very nice, spotless hotel. The staff members were attentive, going out of their way to track down theater tickets which were to be delivered to us via the hotel. A quality place: Arbat Nord has nice clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly service. It's a bargain considering the quality. It's relatively close to the attractions though wear good walking shoes.
