Superb location, right at Dvortsovaya Square (Winter Palace/Hermitage) & Admiralteystvo. it's the 2nd or 3rd building on the Nevsky prospect, several blocks from St. Isaac Cathedral. We walked everywhere. Great for a hostel. Very caring and problem-solving staff. No double-decker beds (plus for me). Good kitchen. High ceilings.
